Our story

From apprenticeship to mastery

Frost & Fade Studio opened in 2018 after our founder spent twelve years learning from master barbers across London, Melbourne, and New York. The goal was not simply to open another grooming business but to establish a place where traditional barbering techniques would be practiced with the same rigor found in fine craftsmanship.

We started in a 600-square-foot space with two chairs. Word spread through client referrals, and within eighteen months we expanded to our current location. Our reputation stems from consistency in execution and genuine care for the details that distinguish adequate work from exceptional results.

Every member of our team has trained for a minimum of three years in classical cutting techniques. We continue education through quarterly workshops, ensuring our methods remain both grounded in tradition and informed by contemporary understanding of hair science and styling innovation.

Precision

Every cut follows careful assessment of face shape, hair density, and growth patterns. We measure twice and cut once, ensuring each service produces results that last.

Integrity

We recommend only what serves your appearance and routine. If a service would not benefit you, we explain why and suggest alternatives.

Continuity

Our training protocols ensure consistent quality regardless of which barber serves you. Techniques are standardized, results are reliable.

The people behind the work

Our barbers have collectively trained for over forty years. Each brings specialized expertise while maintaining the fundamental standards that define our approach to grooming.
